The moisturizer creates a spray mist (12) via a spray jet (8). The printer cylinder (1) has diaphragms (6, 7) forming the catching region (9). There is a negative pressure source (11) in this region causing a condensation element on which the spray mist condenses. The spray mist is thus removed through the gaps (4, 5) between the diaphragms and the cylinder surface (2).
