The two spaced apart components are joined by a connecting screw (52) with front (54) and rear (62) parts for screwing into the first component against which a compensating element (10) is placed. The compensating element and the base element (30) on the second component engage with each other so that the compensating element is axially movable in relation to the base element. The compensating element has a locking element (22) radially movable between two radial positions. The inner surface (32) of the base element is threaded.
