FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining skin injuries on the facial part of the cranium. Age the trauma took place, traumatic influence degree and distance separating the trauma region and eyes are to be determined. Myopia development probability is evaluated in trauma cases of any severity degree being detected at any distance from eyes when occurred in a patient younger than 5 years and at a distance not greater than 0.03 m in patients aged between 5 and 10 ears. Eye refraction control is carried out during examination process. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of early stage diagnosis.
