One input disc (5,15) and one output disc (6,16) form a pair and the two output discs are identically symmetrical to one another and arranged next to one another. Several friction wheels (11,21) are pivotably arranged between the inner surfaces of the pairs of input discs and output discs for transmission of torque from input discs to output discs. To the gear housing (1) a holding frame (2) is releasably fixed and has an upper frame stirrup (28) and a lower frame stirrup (29). Also incorporated is a pot-shaped bearing support member (7), which connects the upper frame stirrup with the lower frame stirrup and on which the last one bearing (24) for the gearwheel (8) is arranged so that its inner ring is stationary and its outer ring rotates together with the gearwheel (8).
