PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject sinker intended to cast a lure far away and capable of further improving fishing successfulness through not impairing the mobility of the lure itself and enable the lure to be cast smoothly as well. SOLUTION: This sinker has such one as to enable a lure to be cast far away through imparting the lure itself with a weight to some extent; because of being mobile except for lying underwater, this sinker is in contact with the lure when it is to be cast, enabling the lure to be cast smoothly; furthermore, because of being in operation even in its splashdown, this sinker enables the distance from the lure to be regulated, and by regulating the buoyancy of the lure itself, the lure is not subjected to unnecessary motion, and a fishline can be reeled without impairing the motion inherent in the lure.
