<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof case for housing a portable telephone set or a portable game machine, radio machine, etc., which makes the portable telephone set, etc., safely usable without worry about the wetting with water even when the portable telephone set, etc., are used at the sea side, pool side or in a bathroom or the like in the state the telephone set, etc., are housed. SOLUTION: This waterproof case 1 for housing the portable telephone set, etc., consists of a main body part 2 made of a synthetic resin formed with a recessed part 8 capable of housing the portable telephone set 7, etc., and a cap 4 made of a synthetic resin covering the aperture 3 of the recessed part 8 of the main body part 2. The cap 4 is, thereupon, blanked with a portion facing the aperture 3 of the main body part 2 and a urethane film 6 which is transparent or translucent and has elasticity and stretchability and has tear resistance, wear resistance and sound transfer characteristic is mounted in the blanked part 5, by which the infiltration of the water from the blanked part 5 into the inside may be prevented. The cap 4 is freely openable and closable with respect to the main body part 2 and maintains the hermetic sealing state in a closed stage.</p> |
