PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent liquid from being left by forming an ejection opening group in the vicinity of deepest part on a recess made in an orifice plate and making gentle the angle at a region of a combined curved face where first and second inclining faces are jointed after cleaning with a cleaning member. SOLUTION: A recess 157 is defined by a curved face formed by combining first and second faces 151, 152 at the deepest part thereof, and third and fourth faces 153, 154 on the opposite sides thereof. The first face 151 is gentler than the second face 152 which has an inclination steeper than that of the first face 151. Consequently, the deepest part defined by the first and second faces 151, 152 can be located lower than the central part 158 of a recess in a face 156 and on the downstream side in the advancing direction of a blade 111 shown by an arrow W. Since the deepest part is located closely to a nozzle 200, an optimal recess 157 can be obtained. |
