PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation application wire whose operability and safety in inserting into a lumen can be secured by improving the flexibility at the top, and which can improve the treatment effect because it can precisely detect the position of the radiation source and can properly apply radiations to a target tissue. SOLUTION: This radiation application wire has a flexible core wire 2a and a radiation applying means for irradiating radiations to a target part inside a lumen, and a tapered part 22 whose diameter becomes shorter toward the top 21 is formed at the top of the core wire 2a. The radiation applying means 3 is preferably attached to the tapered part 22, and is preferably stored in a tube 6. |
