PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve quality and workability at site, not to require a complex control device, to automate a heating work and to quickly conduct a setting work by arranging a heating burner following/moving means to move a heating burner in following the movement of a joining face due to contraction of a joined part with gas pressure welding. SOLUTION: A heating device is mounted to reinforcing rods 1, 2 butted each other in the horizontal state. The heating device consists of a heating burner 4, a heating burner support member 6 to hold the heating burner 4 on a joining face of the reinforcing rods 1, 2 and a heating burner 4 following/ moving means 7 to move the heating burner 4 in following the movement of the joining face due to contraction of a joined part by gas pressure welding. The following/moving means 7 is constituted so that the heating burner 4 is mounted to a gear box engaging two rack members so as to hold a pinion gear and a holding member to fix the reinforcing rod is mounted to each rack member.
