PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braille printing method which makes printing on an uneven printing surface and on the side of a work possible and also enables high speed printing in a simple apparatus constitution, and a braille printer. SOLUTION: A molten printing material 69 is supplied to one side 53a of a screen 57 in which letter holes 55 are bored. The molten material 69 is packed only in the letter holes 55 by scraping off the material 69 from the side 53a. While the printing surface of a printed body 61 is being made to face the other side of 53b of the screen 57 at prescribed intervals, the printed body 61 is passed through the screen 57. When prescribed positions of the printing surface 61a agree with the letter holes 55 filled with the molten material 69, high pressure fluid is ejected from the side 53a of the screen 57 to the letter holes 55, and the molten material 69 in the letter holes 55 is scattered to be stuck on the printing surface 61a.
