PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize the reticulate outer appearance of a fabric in a design and enable a post-molding at a high strength by a method wherein polyurethane elastomer films are vertically stacked through a fabric layer, which films are pressed and heated to impregnate the elastomer into the films. SOLUTION: Polyurethane elastomer (TPU) films are vertically stacked through a fabric layer and the films are pressed in the vertical direction and heated to impregnate the TPU films into the fabric layers, whereby the fabrics are formed into a single body by thermal bonding. The heating temperature is preferably equal to or lower than the burning deterioration temperature of the fabric. In view of fluidity, press molding and mechanical strength of composite sheet, the TPU preferably has a melt flow index of 2-15 g/10 minutes. As a processing method of TPU films, a T-die extrusion is preferable when accuracy in thickness is required. And as a fabric, fabrics, plaiting, nonwoven fabrics, or other cloth comprising synthetic fibers such as nylon fibers, polyester fibers, polypropylene fibers, or natural fibers such as wool, cotton, silk, flax, etc., are used.
|
