PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comb plate for footboard which blocks the invasion of a foreign matter such as a kindler to the inside a machine main body from the side clearance of a moving footboard. SOLUTION: In a system furnished with a footboard 3 which has numeorus cleat grooves 3B at its foot surface 3A, and moves between one side getting-on/off floor 2 and the other side getting-on/off floor; and skirt guards 5 standing vertically at both sides of the flootboard 3, a comb plate 4 having a comb tooth 4C to reject a foreign matter invading to a clearance (g) is provided to the clearance (g) part between the footboard 3 and the skirt guards 5.
