PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inspecting sealed condition of lid which is capable of easily detecting whether or not an opening part of a container is surely sealed by a flexible sheet-like lid fitted to the opening part of the container. SOLUTION: In a method for inspecting sealed condition of lid of a container in which an opening part of the container consisting of a container material such as a paper and a synthetic resin is sealed with a lid 23a consisting of a flexible sheet material, the flexible sheet is struck by a striking sound generating device 1 in a condition where the slackness of the lid 23a consisting of the flexible sheet is removed, and the lid sealed condition is inspected by the generated sound.
