PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To intermittently control in a multi-stage a motor for driving a blower even in a low speed rotation region and improve maintainability and reduce a cost. SOLUTION: This device drives a compressor 21 through the working of a subengine E arranged separately from an engine for running. In this case, a brushless motor is employed as a motor 22 to drive a blower 24 to supply air-conditioned air in a cabin. Further, a clutch 27 is provided to connect and disconnect transmission of a power from the subengine E to the motor 23 and engagement and disengagement of the clutch 27 are controlled based on the number of revolutions of the subengine E by an air-conditioner CPU. Further, when the clutch 27 is in an OFF-state, the motor 22 is brought into a battery- drive state, and the number of revolutions of the motor 22 is intermittently and multistagedly controlled by a controller.
