POWERPLANT MOUNT STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attenuate idle vibration and to restrain a power plant from longitudinally vibrating upon torque variation. SOLUTION: The stiffness and support positions of a plurality of mounts 4, 5, 6, 7 for supporting a power plant 1 mounted on a vehicle are set so as to allow a principal axis of inertia of the power plant and an elastic rolling axis 11 to be vertically coincident with each other. Thereby it is possible to reduce longitudinal oscillation of the power plant caused by a deviation between the principal axis 10 of inertia and the elastic roll axis 11.
