PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strengthen the area around a body weight supporting part of an axle housing manufactured by welding steel plates. SOLUTION: The area around the body weight supporting part of the axle housing for supporting the body weight applied from above is strengthened by mounting a reinforcing rib 12 for linking upper and lower walls of the axle housing near the body weight supporting part inside the axle housing 11.
