PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly remove the moisture remaining on the surface of a medium and to prevent the drying of a moisture leading-out material for wiping. SOLUTION: In an eraser erasing the writing mark of a marker pen wherein ink is erased by the supply of moisture, a moisture leading-out material leading out the moisture W held in a casing to be held to a surface wet state and moisture absorbing/drying materials 13, 14 arranged so as not to come into contact with the moisture leading-out material 12 and capable of drying the absorbed moisture W at early stages are provided. Further, the cap 20 covering the moisture leading-out material at a time of non-use or the cap covering the moisture leading-out material 12 and the moisture absorbing/drying materials 13, 14 is provided.
