The weapon lock (1) comprises a main section (2) for placing inside the gun barrel and provided with a key-operated lock cylinder (6). A locking fixture (23) in the lock is manoeuvred by a rotatable lock journal (20) into a locking position where the lock is fixed relative to a part of the gun close to the cartridge. Means (26, 27, 35) are provided for fixing the journal into an axially displaced position if the gun is handled by an unauthorised person, so that an auxiliary section (24) of the lock present in the journal causes the locking fixture to be fixed in the locking position, irrespective of the journal rotation position. |
