PURPOSE: A ring generating device is provided to operate a ringing apparatus according to luminous intensity by reducing components, and to improve process efficiency and reduce failure rate. CONSTITUTION: A ring apparatus of a communication terminal comprises a varistor adjusting the measured luminosity with changing resistance value; a CDS(110) connected to the varistor to change the resistance value according to luminosity; an analog-digital converter(200) converting analog voltage divided by the varistor and the CDS into digital value; a control unit(100) comparing the converted digital value with the reference level, outputting a control signal for adjusting to a night sound pressure level in detecting a night sound level, and outputting a control signal for a day sound pressure level in detecting a day sound level; and a ring sound generating unit(120) adjusting level of ring sound by the control signal. The ring apparatus of the communication terminal controls sound pressure of a ring according to luminosity.
