PURPOSE: An optical disk player is provided to construct an all-in-one OSD(On Screen Display). Therefore, it is possible to simplify hardware to reduce a manufacturing cost. The optical disk player is provided to perform a digital process for all signals, and to reduce signal process steps until the last necessary signal is outputted. Therefore, an attenuation of a picture quality can be prevented. CONSTITUTION: An optical disk(101) records data. An optical pick-up device(103) reads the data. A motor(111) rotates the optical disk(101). A servo circuit(113) applies driving signals to the motor(111) and the optical pick-up device(103). A microprocessor(115) controls an operation of the servo circuit(113). A high frequency amplifier(105) amplifies/outputs a signal read from the optical pick-up device(103). An error correction circuit(107) inputs an output signal of the high frequency amplifier(105) to correct generated errors. A VBR(Variable Bit Rate) buffer(109) temporally stores the corrected signal. A navigator(117) transceives a signal necessary for a data transmission with the microprocessor(115), and performs entire control for the data transmission. A video decoding circuit(121) extracts only video data from bit streams outputted from the VBR buffer(109), and decodes the video data to output the decoded video data. A digital OSD(On Screen Display)(125) extracts only subtitle data from bit streams applied through the video decoding circuit(121), and performs a signal process to outputs the subtitle data. An audio signal processing circuit(127) inputs an audio signal applied from the digital OSD(125), and performs a signal process to output the audio signal. A DAC(Digital-To-Analog Converter) for a video(123) mixes decoded video signal/subtitle signals, and converts into an analog signal to output the converted analog signal. A DAC for an audio(129) decodes the audio signal to output the decoded audio signal, and inputs the decoded signal to convert into an analog signal. |
