PURPOSE: An apparatus for improving a definition of a TV/PC synchronous screen is provided to simultaneously improve the definition of a PC video and that of a TV video by selectively controlling a velocity modulation in case that the videos are simultaneously outputted. CONSTITUTION: A multiscreen processing unit(5) receives a main video signal and a subordinate video signal. A video chrominance signal processing unit(6) select a video signal according to a control signal of a microcomputer(11). A video amplification unit(7) amplifies the video signal outputted from the video chrominance signal processing unit(6) in order to display the signal on the Braun-tube(8). A velocity modulation signal amplification unit(9) amplifies a velocity modulation mute signal applied from the video chrominance signal processing unit(6). A velocity modulation coil(10) displays a video velocity-modulated by the signal. The microcomputer(11) controls each unit according to a selection through a remote control(12) of a user.
