APPARATUS OF A SOUND FILTERING FOR A COMMUNICATION TERMINAL EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE: A voice filtering apparatus of a communicating terminal is to selectively eliminate only a noise signal mixed in a voice signal when transmitting/receiving the voice signal in the communicating terminal, thereby improving quality of the voice signal. CONSTITUTION: A voice signal containing a noise signal is input to an input portion(10). An adaptive filtering portion(20) filters the noise signal from the voice signal. An output portion(30) outputs a voice estimating signal of the adaptive filtering portion. In the adaptive filtering portion, A time delaying circuit(21) delays the voice signal for a desired time to separate the voices signal and the noise signal. An adaptive signal processing circuit(22) performs an LMS(least-mean-square) process of the voices signal and the noise signal output from the time delaying circuit to output the voice estimating signal. An adder(23) adds the voice signal containing the noise signal and the voice estimating signal and then transmits to the adaptive signal processing circuit. The input portion receives the voice signal through a microphone(11). The output portion outputs the voice estimating signal through an antenna.
