A GOLD CODE GENERATOR USING MASK PATTERNS

摘要

PURPOSE: A gold code generator using a mask is provided to increase the integration of hardware by using, a mask composed of simple AND gates, for two ML(Maximum Length) code generators and shift registers. CONSTITUTION: Exclusive OR operation is executed for the output of the first and second linear feedback shift registers to generate a gold code 1. In order to generate the second gold code, AND operation is first executed for the output data of each of the terminals of the second linear feedback shift register and the value of a mask 1 using AND gates(21-2r). Then exclusive OR operation is executed for each of the bits outputted from the AND gates(21-2r) using an exclusive OR operation gate(2). The gold code 2 is finally generated by executing exclusive OR operation for the output of the exclusive OR operation gate(2) and the output of the first linear feedback shift register using an exclusive OR operation gate(2').
