Two radial bearings rotatably supporting the upper part of a shaft having agitating impellers on the body of an agitator are disposed separately around the portions of the shaft above and below a reduction gear fitted to the upper part of the shaft to sandwich the reduction gear. The two radial bearings are accommodated and supported inside the housings above and below the reduction gear. The number of shaft supporting radial bearings to be accommodated and supported inside the housing part extending in the direction of the shaft at the lower part of the agitator body is halved to one, and the length of the housing part for accommodating and supporting the radial bearing, extending in the direction of the shaft at the lower part of the agitator body is thereby shortened. |
