FLAT DISPLAY DEVICE HAVING MICRO ELECTRO BULB DISCHARGE

PURPOSE: An electro luminescence display device is provided to have a micro discharge bulb filled with a gas capable of emitting an ultraviolet light. CONSTITUTION: A rear electrode(12) is formed on an inner surface of a rear substrate(11) and a front electrode(13) is formed on an inner surface of an intermediate substrate(14). A plurality of micro discharge bulbs(7) are installed between the rear electrodes(12,13), which are disposed so as to be intersected. An ultraviolet light from the micro discharge bulb(17) is reflected from the rear electrode(12) formed on the inner side of the rear substrate(11). An ultraviolet light from the micro discharge bulb(17) passes through the front electrode(13), which is made of a transparent electrode such as ITO.
