The machine comprises a fixed bench for receiving the piece of marble in the form of an "L" via one of the arms of the latter, there being a fixed frame on the bench which carries, by means of linear circulating ball guides, a carriage which can be displaced along the fixed bench, which carries the grinding-wheel head which is able to rotate on said movable carriage, forming an arc of a circle, in order to produce manipulation of the edge of the L-shaped piece parallel to the longitudinal axis of the bench of the machine. <IMAGE>
