<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable emission of a radio wave in the direction of a human tissues to be effectively prevented by measuring a proximity parameter and equipping a proximity detector, which supplies a control element with a proximity index so as to control a power adjuster. SOLUTION: A proximity detector 18 connected to a control element 17 detects that human tissues exist in the neighborhood of a device by measuring proximity parameters, such as a temperature or humidity and transmits proximity coefficient characteristics of a detected object to the control element 17. The value of this coefficient is analyzed by the control element 17, depends upon a preferable transmission direction, decides a directional antenna for reducing the transmission power and is compared with a set value stored in, for example, a private memory for reading, so as to start appropriate control of a power adjuster 16. Then, under the control or the control element 17, the power adjuster 16 selects one or various kinds of antennas and adjusts the transmission power as a function of data generated by the detector 18.</p> |
