PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an active matrix type liquid crystal display signal by using a simple matrix type liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: The device is equipped with an interface connector 11 which input a liquid crystal display signal from an outer information treating section and a first multilayer printed board 2 provided on one side of the liquid crystal panel through a common electrode driving circuit and a second multilayer printed board 3a which is provided on the other side of the liquid crystal panel adjacent to the side mentioned above through a segment driving circuit. Here, a third multilayer printed board 4 is provided, which has, at least, a low voltage differential signal restoring circuit 22 which restores the active matrix type liquid crystal display device signal of low voltage differential signal type, which is input into the interface connector 11 of the first multilayer printed board 2, to the original active matrix type liquid crystal display signal and a signal converting circuit 24 which converts the active matrix type liquid crystal display signal restored at the low voltage differential signal restoring circuit 22 into a simple matrix type liquid crystal display signal.
