摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize both synchronization establishment and low power consumption, when asynchronization is generated after temporarily establishing synchronization by switching a 2nd detecting operation to 1st detecting operation and detecting a synchronous signal, when both a synchronizing signal and signal existence cannot be detected by the 2nd detecting operation. SOLUTION: A synchronizing code detection circuit 41 in a synchronous circuit 4 built in the selective call receiver executes the 1st detecting operation in an initial state, and after detecting a preamble by detecting the repeat of '1' and '0' about 4 bits by intermittent reception, is switched to continuous reception to detect a synchronizing code word(SC) signal. At detecting of the SC signal, a synchronizing code detecting a 1st flag 42A and a synchronizing code detecting 2nd flag 42B are set up. When the second flag 42B is set up, a signal for switching the 1st detecting operation to the 2nd detecting operation for allowing the circuit 41 to detect an SC signal and a preamble is outputted to the circuit 41.
