PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve power conversion efficiency, miniaturize and make light a circuit. SOLUTION: A gap is provided at an insulation converter transformer PIT for coarse connection as a voltage-resonance type switching power supply, which corresponds to relatively high-load condition, exceeding 150 W in an AC input voltage AC 100 V system. Then, at a secondary side, a secondary side DC output voltage is obtained by a full-wave rectifying circuit ([a bridge rectifying circuit D0 and a smoothing capacitor C01] for secondary coil winding N2A for forming a parallel resonance circuit at the secondary side and [rectifying diodes D03 and D04 and a smoothing capacitor C02] at the side of secondary coil winding N2B), where parallel resonance capacitor C2 is connected to increase the maximum load power. A primary side is constituted so that the rectifying smoothing voltage at a level corresponding to an AC input voltage level can be inputted, by a normal full-wave rectification circuit instead of a double-voltage rectifying circuit.
