PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna which suppresses the degradation of its electrical performance, does not narrow nor degrade its visual range and reduces the unnatural feeling of its appearance by adding an antenna radiation element consisting of a metallic foil having many holes to the antenna and controlling the total area of holes and the area of a single hole so as to satisfy the band width of the antenna radiation element and also the visual field secured via every hole. SOLUTION: A VHF/UHF band film antenna 10 is a folded dipole antenna which is produced by drilling many holes 17 through a metallic foil that is obtained by a cutting, pressing or etching process or the evaporation. The diameter of every hole 17 is set to be 3-6 mm and the ratio is set to be 70:30-30:70 between the area of the metallic foil and the total area of holes 17, respectively. If the diameter of the hole 17 exceeds 6 mm, the electrical performance is degraded and the production cost is increased. Meanwhile, the machining and production costs are increased if the diameter of the hole 17 is smaller than 3 mm. Then a satisfactory visual field is not secured if the total area of holes 17 is less than 30%, and the electrical performance is significantly degraded if the total area of holes 17 exceeds 70%.
