摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical insulating and cooling material for a high voltage power supply device capable of maintaining the high voltage space at a relatively low temp. for preventing deterioration of an element likely to be damaged by the heat originating from power loss. SOLUTION: An electrical insulating and cooling material is of composite type consisting of at least one sort of thermoplastic polymer and at least one sort of granular ceramic filler, wherein the thermal conductivity is no less than 0.9 W/m. K. Examples of the thermoplastic polymer are polypropylene, polyether imide, polyphenyl sulfide, and mixture of polyether imide and polyphenyl sulfide. Examples of the granular ceramic filler are alumina, aluminum nitrate, boron nitride, barium sulfate, beryllium oxide, and mixture thereof.
