<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure safety and reliability upon a wire being broken in a ceiling mounted air fan apparatus including an elevatable grill. SOLUTION: The present apparatus is adapted such that it includes a falling prevention mechanism X in which in the state where there is set a grill 4 at a mounting position between a peripheral edge portion 5a in a suction hole 5 in a decorative panel 3 and a peripheral edge portion 4a of the grill 4 mounted on the suction hole 5, the grill 4 is hooked on a decorative panel 3 side and is restricted in its movement in a falling direction when a wire 10 supporting and suspending the grill 4 is broken down. With such a construction, even if the wire 10 is broken down owing to any cause, the falling prevention mechanism X is actuated corresponding to the wire 10 being broken down to hook the grill 4 on the decorative panel 3 side and hence restrict the same in its movement in a falling direction, whereby the grill 4 is previously and securely prevented from being fallen. Thus, safety and reliability of the apparatus are ensured.</p> |
