PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp taste sunk at the bottom of consciousness which is represented by the color of a makeup cosmetic by using the concentration of the immunoglobulin in a humor such as secretory immunoglobulin A as an index. SOLUTION: The measured concentration of the immunoglobulin in a humor is used as an index for the selecting method for the color of a makeup cosmetic. The concentration of the immunoglobulin in the humor is measured before and after the color of the makeup cosmetic is presented, the ratio of the concentration of the immunoglobulin after the color of the makeup cosmetic is obtained against the concentration of the immunoglobulin before the color of the makeup cosmetic is presented is calculated such a changing ratio. When the ratio exceeds 1, i.e., 100%, it is judged that the color is liked that much. Such judgment is repeated for various colors, and the color having the highest ratio is selected because the color is judged to be subliminally liked. Blood, the liquid component of blood plasma or serum, or salvia is preferably used as the humor.
