SOLUTION: A map data in a storage device 20 is updated by using an update map data obtained from outside a vehicle through a transmission and reception unit 24. At this time, an object area is set according to history information relating to past map use. The area that the user usually uses frequently is set as the object area and then efficient data update is possible. The history information is, for example, information on past vehicle positions, past spot registration, past guide routes, or past screen display specified points. |
