PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antireflection film having an adequate color correction function in addition to an antireflection function by using specific cyanine dyes as the dyes to be incorporated into a filter layer and further, incorporating a specific metal complex therein. SOLUTION: The antireflection film is formed by laminating a filter layer containing dyes and a polymer binder, a transparent base and a low-refractive index layer having a refractive index lower than the refractive index of the transparent base in this order. The dyes incorporated in the filter layer are the cyanine dyes expressed by formula I and further, contains the metal complex expressed by formula II. In the formula I, Z1 and Z2 are nonmetal atom groups forming 5- or 6-membered nitrogen containing heterocyclic rings; R1 and R2 are alkyl groups, alkenyl groups, etc.; L1 is a methine chain consisting of an odd piece of methines; X is anion; (a) to (c) are 0 or 1. In the formula II, L is a ligand; M is a metal atom; n1 is an integer from 1 to 10 and m1 is 1 or 2. |
