PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera equipped with a photometry device capable of accomplishing appropriate exposure without an exposure error which is caused by the color difference of an object, and also, capable of automatically correcting the exposure. SOLUTION: The camera is provided with the photometry device 13 for measuring the brightness of the object and exposure controllers 15 and 20 for controlling the exposure of the camera, based on the photometric value obtained by the photometry device 13, the camera is also provided with a colorimetry device 12 for measuring the color of the object. The photometry correction value corresponding to each color is read out by the controllers 15 and 20 based on the color measured by the colorimetry device 12, then, the photometry correction value is added to the photometric value obtained by the photometry device 13 so as to control and correct the exposure. The overexposure and underexposure which are caused by the light reflectance difference due to the color difference of the object are eliminated, then, the appropriate exposure is accomplished. |
