PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make transfer operation easy. SOLUTION: The cordless telephone set consisting of each of a master set and a slave set is provided with a transfer button for instructing transition to a transfer mode and, when the transfer button of the master set or of the slave set is operated (S2 and S12) and the transfer mode is entered, an operation method at the time of transferring connection of a telephone line is indicated by sound (steps S3, S5, S8, S13, S15 and S18).
