PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a high performance full-color display body with a large screen at a low cost. SOLUTION: For a full-color organic EL display body of a direct sight type, thin film transistors 102 formed for every picture element, transparent picture element electrodes 103 for covering the thin film transistors 102, a positive hole filling layer 104, coloring layers 106, 107, 108 for covering the respective thin film transistors 102 and a reflective electrode 109 are formed in sequence on a glass substrate 101. The coloring layers 106, 107, 108 are formed by patterning coloring material for every picture element in a ink-jet system.
