PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the facility cost and obtain a stable monitoring result by incorporating a power supply for drive at one portion of a connection part for connecting an operation display or a sensor part for judging whether an object to be monitored is operating normally or not in an operation display part based on a value that is sensed by the sensor part. SOLUTION: In the monitoring system, a sensor part 2 is directly attached to a target 1 to be monitored, monitoring information is collected by a remote portable data logger 3, and the data are analyzed in detail by a computer 4. The sensor part 2 consists of sensors 5 and 6 for inspecting a pressure, a temperature, or the like, a CPU 7 for calculating values being detected by the sensors 5 and 6 and comparing them with a reference value, a display part 8, a communication module 9, and a lithium batter 10. To reduce the power consumption at the sensor part 2, an analog circuit system in the sensor part 2 is normally set to stop state and the communication module 9 is set to signal reception standby state, and the analog circuit system is set to conduction state only when a command is received from the portable data logger 3.
