PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve a processing load and to attain high speed processing in the case of management of image information stored in a storage medium while keeping consistency with print information used to designate to print. SOLUTION: A control section 30 allows a display panel 18 to display an image file recorded in a memory card 16. In the case of deleting the image file, the control section 30 discriminates whether or not the image file printing is designated based on the presence of printed information in the image file. When the printed information is in existence, the control section 30 confirms a job designating the image file printing and deletes the image file after deleting the print designation information. When no printed information is inexistence in the image file, the control section 30 deletes the image file without the need for at processing.
