PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a lead conductor to a lead pin with a sufficient strength by inserting an end of at least one lead pin into a sealing cap, sealing the cap by melting and solidifying a sealer, butting a set conductor of tin-covered copper strands of an insulator-coated lead to a rear end face of the pin, and welding them. SOLUTION: In the blocking plug E for an electric detonator, tips of a pair of lead pins 21, 22 are sealed by melting and solidifying a glass sealer 4 in a sealing cap 3 brought into contact with an insulating header 1. As the pins 21, 22, an alloy having excellent adhesive properties with glass such as, for example, an iron-nickel alloy is used. Insulator-covered leads 61, 62 are covered on lead twisted conductors 611 of tin-covered copper strands with synthetic resin insulating layers 612. In the case of melting ends of the conductors 611, rear ends of the pins 21, 22 are brought into pressure contact with ends of the conductors 611, ends of the conductors 611 are expanded in hump-like state by pressure contact, and welded to rear end of the pin 21. |
