DATA COMMUNICATION SYSTEM/DEVICE, THEIR CONTROL METHOD AND STORAGE MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform communication of seamless picture data to internet without affecting an existing system even under a limited access with a security system by permitting a transmission side terminal to transmit picture data to be transmitted in plural different picture qualities. SOLUTION: A picture communication device reads a transmission original from a picture input part 18 connected to a picture input/output control part 17 by the instruction of a CPU part 11, converts picture data into plural picture qualities by a picture conversion part 16 and preserves them in an accumulation part 14 as files. The picture files that are different in the picture qualities which are thus generated/preserved are used as display pictures for displaying them on the terminal of a receiver and for recognizing a received picture and as printing pictures transferred as printing data after the receiver recognizes the display picture. Information contained in an electronic mail for a transmission address which is set and the preserved picture file are transmitted to a picture communication server.
