FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: multi-pass extrusion head has body, holder with mandrel arranged in it, polymeric profile-section channels communicating with head supply channel and magnetostrictive radiator. Cross-shaped mandrel is made sectional and provided with cooling system. Mandrel houses magnetostrictive radiator designed to impose ultrasonic oscillations on polymer mass in molding zone. Two half-cylinder sections with cooling system are positioned between mandrel and holder. Profile-section channels are formed between half-cylinder sections and mandrel. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of extrusion process. 3 dwg
