The pressure vessel (1) has a mainly form-stable wall (3) around its inner chamber (2). The wall has at least one aperture (3.1), which is sealed by a plug-like insert (4) of an elastomer material. The plug is non/positively connected to the edge (3.2) of the aperture. It projects radially over the aperture edge on the inside. The face of the plug towards the interior is convex, esp. dome or mushroom-shaped, so that forces applied by the internal pressure (P) deform the plug, resulting in an increase of the contact pressure (R) on the edge of the aperture.
