PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the turning on or repelling of branches or leaves from blade tips when cutting the branches and leaves, raise properties of introduction into comb teeth, smoothly cut the branches and leaves and simultaneously reduce the vibration of blades. SOLUTION: This hedge trimmer is obtained by composing an upper blade 1 and a lower blade 2 so as to reciprocate and drive in mutual inverted phase and driving the upper blade 1 and the lower blade 2 with extents of different amplitudes in the hedge trimmer equipped with the upper blade 1 and the lower blade 2 assuming the shape of comb teeth and performing reciprocating motion.
