PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking device that can notify users about any actuation of its thermal protector with reliability. SOLUTION: If receiving two outputs of pulse signals from a detection circuit 26 within a detection time (t) while outputting control signals to a relay 23, a control circuit 22 decides the detection circuit 26 detects that a kneading motor 16 is energized. With no control signals outputted to the relay 23, on the other hand, the control circuit 22 decides the detection circuit 26 detects that the kneading motor 16 is electrically disconnected, if it receives no pulse signal outputs from the detection circuit 26 within another detection time t'. If the detection circuit 26 detects an electrically disconnected condition while any energization circuit is made for the kneading motor 16, the control circuit 22 decides a thermal protector 25 is actuated and activates a display part 14 to the effect to notify users about this fact. |
