PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide vinyl chloride based resin compositions which are reduced in the generation of hydrogen chloride upon combustion and, at the same time, have an impact resistance at least equal to that of the conventional vinyl chloride homopolymer. SOLUTION: Vinyl chloride based resin compositions comprise a vinyl chloride based resin obtained by graft-polymerizing 90-50 wt.% vinyl chloride or a copolymerizable monomer having, as the major component, vinyl chloride on to 10-50 wt.% acrylic copolymer obtained by copolymerizing 100 pts.wt. acrylic monomers composed of not less than 50 wt.% alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer whose homopolymer has a glass transition temperature of -140--20 deg.C and the rest of another acrylic monomer with 0.1-30 pts.wt. polyfunctional monomer; calcium carbonate or aluminum hydroxide; and a chlorinated polyethylene.
