PURPOSE: A method for recording image and a photographic device are provided to reduce time taking from photograph completion to the process of reproduction display and dividing work of record medium by decoding image data and recording in the record medium on the basis of indication list. CONSTITUTION: A method for recording image comprises a step gauging the quantity of image data memorized to a memory medium(10) by prescribed quantity, and a step recording the image data in a record medium(11) with the process from data photographing to memorizing in the memory medium after arrived to the prescribed quantity. The image data memorized in the memory medium are recorded in the recording medium on the basis of the memorized information.
