PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file holder which is excellent in the visibility of an ID label even when being housed in a shelf or being stacked, and also, is excellent in the housing property in a shelf or the like. SOLUTION: This file holder 1 is equipped with an insertion guide section 7 which is formed in such a manner that the width thickness of a housing body 2 may gradually become thinner outward at the side end portion of the housing body 2 under a folded state, and a label fixing means 10 which makes an ID label 15 displayable in the insertion guide section 7. By this constitution, even when a plurality of the file holders are housed in a shelf, or are being stacked, they become easily visible, and the visual searching property of the file holder is improved, and at the same time, when being inserted and housed between the file holders, the side end portions of the covers can be prevented from colliding with each other, and the covers can be prevented from being damaged, and at the same time, a smooth insertion becomes possible.
